After reviewing the applications of several candidates from across the country, hosting first-round Sykpe interviews and second round on-campus interviews, the Student Professional Development Center is pleased to announce its newest additions to the Career Services staff! Welcome aboard, Amber and Danielle!

Amber McCraw

Originally from Summerfield, NC, Amber McCraw attended North Carolina State University where she obtained Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Business Administration. It was there that she discovered her love for working with students. Amber has spent the last two years at the University of Georgia completing her Master’s degree in College Student Affairs Administration and working in Residence Life. She is looking forward to the opportunity to work with students in a new capacity at Elon University come July. In her free time, Amber enjoys listening to country music, watching movies, reading, and taking on new challenges such as running the Disney Princess Half Marathon!

Danielle Golinski

 New Hampshire native, Danielle Golinski, has always had the passion for working with young adults in the field of education. While completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire, she had a Resident Assistant position that provided a leadership opportunity and helped to provide focus on her career path. Most recently, Danielle completed her Master of Education degree in School Counseling at Rivier University in Nashua, New Hampshire. During her program, she worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Student Success program, and as an intern in the guidance department at a public high school. Danielle brings with her a strong counseling background and a passion for student engagement and positive psychology. In her free time, Danielle enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out at the gym, and being crafty. She is looking forward to the warmer climate and exploring all that North Carolina and Elon University has to offer.

Career Advising Fellow, 2013-2014 Elon University, Student Professional Development Center Rayna's graduate degree in Higher Education & Student Affairs (HESA) and past graduate assistantship experience has prepared her for her current role in university Career Services. While her primary objective is to provide career development advice to students, Rayna is trained to also assist the general public with career & educational planning. Rayna strongly encourages the integration of the personal & professional selves, through extensive reflection and exploration. She believes that this integration can have very positive effects and she enjoys assisting others in developing the habits necessary to attain their desired personal, career and educational goals.
